Is an elementary standard that provides pain stimulus in the tail of rat the intensity of pain stimulus is contnously variable from minimum to maximum and is monitored by a meter . A specially designed water jacket which also acts as a retainer for rats tails and regulates the surrounding side area solid state device and provides a constant heat at set point ignoring the main line voltage flection of +10% timer  eliminate the need of stop watch thus making free the hands of experiments.
